Program Description

The computer industry is constantly evolving new technology that is forever changing the way individuals, businesses and organizations conduct their business. Students in Computer Science Technology Program will learn how to develop, support and implement a variety of computer applications through a combination of learning activities including lectures, hands-on learning and the use of mobile computers, students develop practical, highly marketable skills. Students study courses in computer architecture, programming techniques, computer networks (Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks), systems analysis, database implementation and management, operating systems and mathematical algorithms. |

Graduates are employed in most industries, but the largest concentrations are in large and small companies that write and sell software, companies that design and manufacture computer components and peripherals, and companies that provide engineering and management services, manufacturers of office and accounting machines, banks, educational institutions and government agencies.
