Program Description

Logistics is a group of services concerned with the effective movement of materials and information from source to point of consumption. This program is designed for those entering the field for the first time, or those currently working as logistics personnel who require more comprehensive development or industry certification. This program is designed to provide students with the specialized knowledge and skills required to work in the various component activities of the logistics field. Students will receive comprehensive instruction on all the facets of logistics and will be given opportunity to apply the theoretical components in projects designed to reflect industrial realities.

Career Opportunities

Career opportunities are available in logistics management, planning, transportation management, warehousing operations, inventory planning and control, forecasting, customer service, materials handling operations and management of information systems. Graduates are involved in boundary and organization-spanning teams, strategic planning, alliance building, and a host of other activities that directly impact the success of their organizations worldwide.
