Program Description

The Business Administration
- Finance program is designed to equip students with the knowledge
and skills required to succeed in a business career. All students
share a common start semester and select to graduate in Finance.
This program introduces students to the various functional aspects
of business in general, and finance in particular. This program
will enable students to keep abreast of ever-changing and evolving
economic, business and social environments, and achieve their
personal and career goals. This program is structured to provide
students with proficiency in general management decision making,
industry-standard computer applications, and interpersonal and
communication skills. Moreover, the program provides a firm foundation
upon which students can continue to develop their attitudes, knowledge
and skills in this discipline over a lifetime of learning. |

Graduates possess highly marketable
skills in the areas of financial analysis, financial management,
computer applications, investments, personal financial planning,
taxation and international finance. Finance graduates enter management
training programs at various financial institutions, or undertake
one of the many industry wide professional designations open to
college and university graduates. |
