Program Description

This program combines business
management with professional pilot qualifications. It is a six
consecutive semester program which will provide a commercial pilot's
licence together with a two-year Business Management diploma tailored
to the general aviation sector. The program is signed in consultation
with the aviation industry it serves. Significantly higher tuition
fees will apply to this program. (Pending Ministry Approval). |

Career Opportunities
|
Employers are now looking
for commercial pilots who have postsecondary education in addition
to the required licences and ratings. Graduates of this demanding
program can expect to find initial employment as flight instructors
or charter pilots on single engine or light twin aircraft. Following
several years of successful flying experience, graduates will
be qualified to compete for positions with regional or national
airlines. The program opens up management opportunities in general
aviation businesses including flight schools, charter services,
sales and service organizations or fixed base operators. |
