Employment Prospects -
Over the next five years: Good
|
Employment for this occupation
is expected to grow more rapidly than the average for all occupations
through the year 2005. Employment in this occupation is largely
dependent on construction and renovation activity in the residential,
commercial and institutional real estate sectors. Higher income
earners generate demand for services by private households; this,
too, is related to activity in the residential real estate market.
Computers are used to aid in drafting, colour matching and final
product visualization. Interior designers now need to have knowledge
of these specialized computer packages. |
